RCI's motto is Service to Humanity, and that shows up well beyond the altar.
Battalions across the country run free health screenings, drug distribution, and referral services — including blood pressure and blood sugar screening, free medication, and direct referrals for further care. Medical outreach is a recurring CCSR activity across divisions.
RCI officers regularly visit correctional centers — including White House Prison in Benin City and Keffi Correctional Center in Nasarawa — bringing food, basic supplies, and the Gospel to inmates. At the 610 Battalion's 2024 RCI Week visit to Keffi alone, 72 souls made a decision for Christ.
Trained in basic and psychological first aid, RCI chaplains provide altar protection, crowd management, and emergency response support at RCCG gatherings of every size.
Beyond formal events, RCI chaplains engage directly with at-risk communities — working alongside referral rehabilitation partners to support people working through addiction, exploitation, or conflict, and connecting them to a path toward stability and faith.
This is what "Service to Humanity" means in practice: not a slogan, but a pattern of showing up — in prisons, in clinics, at the altar, and in the parts of the community most other organizations don't reach.
